Mass media in jamaica
In Jamaica, radio and TV are the most important things. there are a lot of stations and one of the most famous stations is Kingston and love the reggae. In Jamaica people are so dificult for the music and the info that is talk in the stations about them.

Into the Jamaica mass media the television is one of the most important and likewise the radio; there are many local station radio for example Kingston fm and Trench town rock that include its popular genres to different public. The women execute a big work with the society, inasmuch as they have been worked since 1987 in the Women’s Media Watch Jamaica, that is a project for investigate the influence of the mass media specially in the teenagers, and by this way show to the people what are they watching and listening.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COUNTRY.
Jamaica is the 3rd largest island of the Caribbean archipelago. It has an area of 10,939.7 km2, a length of 236 km. Its capital Kingston, which is located on the south-eastern coast. English and Patua are its major languages, but there are others like French. If we want to learn something about culture in Jamaica it is necessary to include its music because this is a really important topic for them. Reggae, ska, mento, rock steady and dub are music genres which have a big influence in their lifestyle, and its music has been listened all over the world. The economy of this country is based on the agriculture, mining and manufacturing. Besides tourism and insurance services are an important activity in the Jamaica economy. Finally, Jamaica has an excellent relation with other countries like U.K, France, Germany, that permit to make exports and imports.
